Publiseer, a Nigerian startup and digital publisher, revealed that it is among the 14 finalists of the Harvard Business School's New Venture Competition 2018, which is set to take place on March 2, 2018 at Boston, MA, United States.

Publiseer is an online publishing platform for Nigerian authors and artistes with the aim of promoting the creativity of Nigerian writers and musicians worldwide.

This competition hosted by the Africa Business Club at Harvard Business School aims to display the efforts of different entrepreneurs making a difference in the continent's business sector.

The finalists have been called upon to promote their business in front of about 700 persons in attendance. Then their performance will be evaluated a panel of judges including Josh Sandler of Lori Systems and Steven Koltai of Koltai and Company.

An opportunity to participate in the Startup Lab (where new entrepreneurs get advice from conference participants experienced in strategy, finance and other important fields) will also be available to the finalists. Alongside the participants are experienced students from Harvard Business school faculty. They will be assigned to also assist the entrepreneurs with ideas and help them solve their problems.

The winner of the competition will be awarded a cash price of $10,000. The runner-up will be awarded a cash price of $5,000.
