Spotify Formally Launches Service In South Africa

Spotify has formally launched it's service in South Africa.
 With a global community of over 159 million users, Spotify, according to the business enterprise, offers users the choice of a free advert-supported service, or an advert-free premium subscription service.

“Spotify is very excited to announce our launch in South Africa. We have had the continent in our sights for a while and are finally able to offer South African fans access to all the music they already love on Spotify, while helping them to enjoy, discover and share new music from both local and international artists simply and easily.” stated Michael Krause, Spotify MD, EMEA.

Users can listen free or upgrade to premium to enjoy the ultimate experience of Spotify, for just R59.99 ($5.00) monthly.

You can create playlists, discover and listen to weekly playlists.

You can also view your song history, and check and add songs you've missed.

There is a feature that enables you listen to Spotify music on your Uber ride.

On PlayStation music, you can stream and listen to any song, album, or from your own playlists.  An awesome feature is that you can even access Spotify quick access menu on your PlayStation 4 without interrupting an ongoing game.
Spotify opens a portal to endless music for every emotion, mood and situation. Users in South Africa will have access to playlists including House Nation, Hip Hop Juice, Top Hits South Africa.
