CAF President Pays Tribute To Mohammed Salah

On Sunday night, Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah was voted Premier League Player of the Year at the PFA Awards. In a statement, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) greeted the Egyptian, author of an exceptional season.

“Salah really made Africa very proud. This consecration of Player of the Year, which comes a few months after his coronation as Best African Player, demonstrates once again that African players have the level to be among the best players in the world.

The African football family prides itself on the success of Mohamed Salah, a worthy son of the African continent,"  said CAF President Ahmad.

“His unparalleled commitment to his club and his country makes him a role model for young people across the continent and beyond. We wish him the best in his future endeavors."

Salah will be on the bridge this Tuesday for the semi-final first leg of the Champions League against his former club AS Roma.
